The BFRP Rebar can be used in many different applications and can be used in areas where there is an extreme amount of exposure to water, including bridges, dams, and canals. The BFRP Rebar is also suitable for use in other environments where there is a high risk of corrosion, such as refineries, chemical plants, power stations, and other industrial facilities.
BFRP Rebar is a natural fiber-reinforced concrete material. It is made from basalt, which is a naturally occurring volcanic rock. It is a very strong, durable, and environmentally friendly material. The basalt fibers in BFRP Rebar are extremely strong and help to add strength to the concrete.

Arab Basalt Fiber Company is a Continuous Basalt Fiber production facility with a capacity of 5,000 Tons per year.
The first of its kind in the region, and the second largest in the world, UAE local manufacturing, producing world-class CBF composites, a material with zero harm to the environment, and using the latest generation technology.

The company produces Basalt Fibre Reinforced Polymer (BFRP) Rebar for concrete tensile purposes, which is a non-rusting alternative to steel rebar.
The Arab Basalt Fiber Company is a direct investment 100% owned by the Arab Mining Company – Fujairah.
This work was carried out by the Arab Mining Company – Fujairah to produce basalt fibers and bars for several considerations, the most important of which is that this industry is a new and innovative global industry, as basalt reinforcing bars are manufactured for construction work as an alternative to steel bars.
Basalt Fiber Rebars have distinctive and unique properties that are superior to those of steel rebar.
It should be noted here that the project site was chosen by the Emirate of Fujairah due to the study of the project of its various aspects in cooperation represented in the port of Fujairah, electricity, water and gas, given the availability of raw materials needed for production and the availability of infrastructure.
The first of its kind in the region, and the second largest in the world in terms of production capacity, located in the Emirate of Fujairah – United Arab Emirates.
